WE DO NOT REHOME CATS OR TAKE IN KITTENS.

Our focus is TNR. We do not have a facility, therefore we have nowhere to put cats or kittens. We have very few foster homes and only take in cats and kittens on a very limited basis. If you have a cat or kitten that needs to be taken in, please contact one of the many rescues in the city. If the cat/kitten is currently living outdoors, is healthy, and has a feeder, it is best to leave it where it is.


OUR MAIN FOCUS - TNR
Everyone at Trap Dat Cat is a volunteer. We all have lives, jobs, and families outside of Trap Dat Cat. We do not have anyone paid to answer calls, texts, or emails on a regular basis. We do not have a facility to house cats. We do not have regular trappers that can come out and trap cats for you. We do not have transporters that can transport cats back and forth for you to their appointments. We do not have anywhere to hold cats while they are waiting for their appointments. If you need us to do any of these things for you, you will be placed on a waiting list that could be months long before we get to you. 

So how can we help you right now???

We can loan you traps and teach you how to use them. We can give you all the information you need to be successful at trapping the cats yourself. We can explain how to hold the cats overnight while awaiting their appointments. We can explain the process for taking them to the veterinary clinic and checking them in, and for picking them up. And if you cannot afford the cost of their spay/neuter, we can help pay for it. While this may sound very intimidating, it really isn't. Once you trap your first cat and get it fixed, you will be surprised how easy it is and how rewarding it is to get it done on your own! You will quickly be hooked!

OWNED CAT OR KITTEN:
Friendly cats or kittens that live inside, can be put in a carrier, and do not need an eartip. These cats will receive a full examination by a vet and are eligible for additional services like microchips, vaccines, labwork, flea medications, and deworming. TNR (TRAP-NEUTER-RETURN) FOR COMMUNITY CATS:
Stray or feral cats, friendly or not, that live outdoors. These cats need an eartip to be able to live outdoors. If they have an eartip, they are legally protected from being picked up by animal control. These cats need to be brought in a trap and go through the TNR program. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated , and receive an eartip. They do not receive an examination by a vet or additional services. Click HERE
